After a few weeks of upsets in the Big 12, Week 9 brought fewer surprises, though one still slipped through. Iowa State knocked off Oklahoma State on a walk-off field goal to get their fourth win of the season.
Colorado also finally got its first Big 12 win in an overtime victory over Kansas State, which was on its third-string quarterback. The Wildcats benched him in favor of the fourth-string quarterback.
In other conference action, Baylor dismantled UCF on Friday while Utah had a convincing win against Cincinnati, who were coming off their upset win over Texas Tech. The Red Raiders bounced back this week with a win over Arizona and TCU got their fourth win of the year against Kansas.
