Oklahoma State football vs Kansas State live updates: Start time, TV channel for Big 12 game

MANHATTAN, KS — As a player, Oklahoma State football coach Eric Morris is 1-0 against Collin Klein.

In 2008, Morris’ Texas Tech Red Raiders won 58-28 in Manhattan against Klein’s Kansas State Wildcats.

Morris was in his senior season and caught seven passes for 98 yards. Klein was a freshman and sat on the bench behind Josh Freeman and Carson Coffman.

They face each other in Manhattan again as head coaches at noon Saturday (TNT/HBO Max).

OSU leads the all-time series with Kansas State 43-26, although OSU hasn’t won in Manhattan since 2020. Last season, Kansas State came to Stillwater and beat OSU 14-6.

Kansas State football scouting report for Week 10 vs Oklahoma State

2026 Record: 4-4, 1-4 Big 12

Best player: Running back Rodney Fields Jr. leads the Wildcats with 487 rushing yards and is averaging 5.2 yards per carry. The former Cowboy and Del City star is the most consistent part of Kansas State’s offense and has received double-digit carries in all but one game this season.

The case for Kansas State: Oklahoma State’s defense just allowed 581 yards to Iowa State, a team that ranks No. 15 of 16 Big 12 teams in total offense. This is a matchup Klein and the Wildcats can find offensive success, regardless of who is playing quarterback for them. All three of OSU’s losses this season have come on the road.

The case for OSU: If starting quarterback Avery Johnson is unable to play again, the Cowboys will have a big positional advantage at quarterback. Sophomore Dillon Duff started against Colorado but was benched after three consecutive three-and-outs. Barnett replaced him and threw for 224 yards and three touchdowns. The Cowboys will have a game plan for how to stop Barnett.
