David Gabriel Georges stepped on a Knoxville field and put a show on display for a crowd full of Tennessee orange.
Much of the high school regular season wrapped up on Oct. 30, and more future Tennessee football players had exemplary performances. Here’s a look at how the Vols’ commits performed this past Friday.
Five-star running back David Gabriel Georges (2027)
In front of a Knoxville crowd for the first time since his commitment, the five-star pledge put on a show. Baylor School faced off against Knoxville Catholic inside Covenant Health Park, where Gabriel Georges single-handedly led his squad to a 21-7 win and an undefeated regular season.
Gabriel Georges ran for 277 yards and three touchdowns in the win. He did it on just 12 carries. The native Canadian had a pair of 67-yard scoring plays as well as a 30-yarder. He had two more touchdown runs wiped off by penalty, including an 88-yard burst.
"My O-line made it easy," Georges said. "I had a lot of big gaps."
But that’s just Gabriel Georges being humble. One of his long bursts wasn’t just because the offensive line created space — it was because of highly recruited back's talent. He shed off multiple defenders and danced around the defense on his way to his third score of the game. At one point on the run, his own offensive lineman caught a brief ride on Gabriel Georges’ back.

Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel and running backs coach De’Rail Sims both watched from the Baylor sideline.
"This was special, and I think that David felt that there were a lot of Vols fans pulling for him," Baylor head coach Erik Kimrey said. "I think it meant something to him, and he wanted to give them a little taste of what's to come."
Gabriel Georges finishes the regular season with 1,641 yards and 26 touchdowns in 10 games, many of which he did not play more than a half in.
Four-star quarterback Kaden Craft (2028)
The Vols’ touted signal-caller in the 2028 class also capped an undefeated regular season. He also did it in style.
Lake Norman (N.C.) walloped Mooresville 56-17 behind another stellar performance by Craft. The four-star quarterback went 13-of-18 for 186 yards and five scores. He rushed for another 148 yards on 10 carries.
Craft finished the regular season with 41 total touchdowns and a dual-threat ability on display. The junior passed for 27 scores and threw just three picks, rushing for another 14 scores. He had 2,080 passing yards on a 70.9% completion percentage. He also rushed for 487 more yards and finished the year with a 100-plus-yard rushing performance.
Three-star quarterback Derrick Baker (2027)
Baker clocked in for a light day of work, then clocked out with a game in hand.
The need for the three-star quarterback at Milton High School (Ga.) was not pertinent on Friday night as they rolled to a 55-0 triumph over winless Riverwood. Baker went 5-of-7 passing for 129 yards and four scores.
With the game in hand, Milton opted to use two more quarterbacks in the match. The Georgia High School Association still has one week to play in the regular season as the Eagles sit 8-1 on the year.
Baker has thrown for 27 touchdowns and five interceptions. He’s also rushed for another seven scores. The 6-foot-1, 226-pound quarterback has 2,329 total yards this season.
