The Big 10 is chock full of teams like Washington and Penn St, who are better defensively than offensively, who have questions about QB play, who lack explosiveness, and who will likely finish with somewhere from 6-8 wins. Iowa, Northwestern, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Wisconsin all fit the same profile. The Huskies and Nittany Lions are probably closer to the bottom of the stank ranking of these teams. As a result, this game is an important for both teams trying to reach bowl eligibility. It also means that it looks like an evenly-matched game on paper. Neither team is likely to run away with a big lead and a lot will come down to penalties, turnover differential, third-down conversions, and red-zone success.

It’s an early kickoff for the Homecoming game at Husky Stadium. The game starts at 12:30 with a forecast for a balmy 63 degree high for a November home game. The game will air on FS1 and will be called by Dan Hellie and Robert Smith. You can stream on the Fox One app. KJR 93.3 will have the radio broadcast of the game to be called by Elise Woodward, Cam Cleeland, and Dave Mahler.

Enjoy the game and Go Dawgs!
