If costumes, trick-or-treating, scary movies and general debauchery aren't your things, there's a silver lining for you on this particular Halloween — a college football Saturday.

The month of October will wrap up with a full slate of Week 9 games on Saturday, Oct. 31, a small handful of which come with conference championship and College Football Playoff stakes.

That slate of games is highlighted by three matchups featuring ranked teams facing off against one another.

No. 14 Texas Tech will look to rebound from its blowout Week 8 loss at Cincinnati when it hosts No. 21 Arizona in what could serve as an elimination game for the Big 12 championship. No. 3 Georgia and No. 20 Florida will face off in their annual rivalry game, which will take place in Atlanta, not its traditional home in Jacksonville, Florida, as EverBank Stadium undergoes a major, multi-year renovation. With quarterback Julian Sayin sidelined with an injury, No. 2 Ohio State will make the cross-country trip to take on No. 25 USC that could effectively knock the Trojans out of playoff contention and drive embattled coach Lincoln Riley into further turmoil.

Elsewhere, No. 18 Northwestern will aim to continue its surprisingly strong start in a road game against a reeling Oregon team, No. 24 Iowa will host a resurgent Wisconsin team in the Battle for the Heartland, No. 5 Utah will try to avoid being the second undefeated Big 12 team to lose at Cincinnati in as many weeks and No. 1 Miami will aim to keep its stranglehold on the top spot in the US LBM Coaches Poll when it goes on the road to take on North Carolina and coach Bill Belichick.
