The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to four-star wide receiver Benny Easter, who is committed to the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Easter has been committed to Texas Tech since Nov. 2025.

The four-star plays high school football for Summer Creek High School in Humble, Texas. Easter is ranked as the No. 11 wide receiver in the class of 2027. Easter is the No. 9 recruit in Texas and the No. 72 player in the country. Easter catches passes from three-star North Carolina quarterback commitment Noah Spinks.

Georgia's interest in Easter indicates that the Bulldogs are looking for another wide receiver to sign in the class of 2027. Georgia wide receivers coach James Coley, who was previously at Texas A&M, has landed two receiver commitments in the 2027 cycle (four-star Jamir Dean and three-star Taurean Rawlins).

Flipping Easter from Texas Tech will be no easy task. The Red Raiders have a ton of resources and have had Easter's commitment for nearly a year.

"After a great conversation with Coach Coley, I am blessed to say I have an offer from Georgia football," Easter said via social media. The 6-foot, 200-pound receiver is a versatile athlete with good speed. Easter has a solid frame and also returns kickoffs for his high school.
