Halloween and Auburn with Ole Miss needing a win to keep postseason hopes alive. Things are bound to get weird. And boy did they during the video game simulation. EA got their first prediction right as far as results go. So now it’s time to see what they think about this matchup.

1st Quarter

The Rebels received the opening kickoff, and it was time to see if the opening drive woes could be fixed. Now, whether the woes were cured or not, is yet to be determined as Trinidad Chambliss scrambled 64 yards on a busted play for the first touchdown of the game. Auburn was quick to respond as Jeremiah Cobb broke off a 49 yard run of his own. The offenses sputtered on their next drives as the quarter came to an end.

2nd Quarter

The Ole Miss offense started to click on their first drive in the second. Chambliss drove them down the field and threw a 14 yard strike to Deuce Alexander to retake the lead. Unfortunately, the Rebel defense was still unable to slow down the Tiger run game as Cobb scored for the second time on the ground to tie it up. The Rebs drove right back down the field before JT Lindsey scored from 15 yards out. Lucas Carneiro had his extra point blocked.

Not much defense taking place for either side. Byrum Brown threw his first touchdown of the game to Chas Nimrod from 22 yards out. The extra point gave Auburn the lead. 4th Quarter

Defenses decided to show up in the fourth quarter. Luke Ferrelli picked off Brown and returned it to the one yard line before Makhai Frazier punched it in, giving Ole Miss a nine point lead. Auburn responded with a field goal. Trinidad was picked off on the ensuing possession putting the Tigers in prime position to take the lead. A few plays later, Brown connected with his tight end, Jonathan Echols to tie the game at 47. McPherson shanked the go ahead extra point, leaving the game all squared at 47.
