Senior linebacker Arion Carter is one of 15 semifinalists for the 2026 Butkus Award and the first Tennessee player to reach this stage of the award since A.J. Johnson in 2014.
Carter has produced 46 tackles, five tackles for loss and two sacks in seven games. He has also helped a Volunteers defense limit six of its first eight opponents to 20 points or fewer.
