Tennessee beat No. 6 Kentucky 34-6 at Neyland Stadium behind a defense that did not allow a touchdown. It marked the first time since 2009 that the Volunteers held an AP top-10 opponent without reaching the end zone.
Arion Carter set career highs with 10 solo tackles, four tackles for loss and two sacks as part of a 13-tackle performance. DeSean Bishop ran for 109 yards and two touchdowns, becoming the second Tennessee player to record multiple 1,000-yard rushing seasons.
