With the Ole Miss football team losing to the Texas Longhorns last Saturday, 34-27, the team is looking to bounce back on Halloween against the Auburn Tigers. While the Ole Miss football team will be without running back Kewan Lacy, this former player would explain how this trait of Trinidad Chambliss will help them persevere.

Speaking on the SEC Network, Tim Tebow would talk about how much of a “huge loss” it is for the Rebels to not have Lacy, but the trait he loves from Chambliss that would help with the absence is that “he doesn’t flinch.”

“Yeah, it’s a huge loss because Kewan is one of the most explosive backs in the entire country. But one of my favorite qualities about Trinidad, he doesn’t flinch. You’ve seen it his entire career, highs and lows. He doesn’t flinch. Most everybody else, they do,” Tebow said.

Tim Tebow on what he loves about Ole Miss football’s Trinidad Chambliss

Looking at the Ole Miss football team’s loss to the Longhorns last Saturday, Chambliss would throw for 250 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions. For Tebow, he was impressed with Chambliss’ composure in the contest, saying that he does not “flinch in the hardest moments.”

“Last week at Texas, it’s not going good. He doesn’t flinch in the hardest moments,” Tebow continued. “You see him third and long, fourth and long. He finds a way. Like, this isn’t going to change the demeanor of Trinidad. Yes, he wants to play with Kewan, one of the best players. They need him, but he’s not going to flinch. And I think that character, that mentality, is what the rest of the team feeds off of. And I think they’ll get through it, but man, do they need him next week against Georgia.”

Chambliss and the Rebels look to bounce back against Auburn on Saturday, as it remains to be seen when the team will get back Lacy.
