ESPN's "College GameDay" hosts predicted Tennessee football will beat Kentucky in a game with massive College Football Playoff stakes.
Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, Kirk Herbstreit and the guest picker, actor Jason Sudeikis, all picked the Vols to win, while Pat McAfee was the lone dissenting voice selecting the Wildcats. No. 16 Tennessee (6-2, 3-2 SEC) hosts No. 7 Kentucky (7-1, 5-1) on Nov. 7 (6:15 p.m. ET, ESPN) at Neyland Stadium.
"College GameDay" origniated from South Bend, Indiana, for No. 1 Miami vs. No. 6 Notre Dame.
Tennessee needs a win over Kentucky to stay in the College Football Playoff race after a last-second loss to South Carolina on Oct. 24. The Vols are 4-1 at home this season, with their lone loss coming to Texas, 20-17, on Sept. 26 with "College GameDay" in attendance.
Tennessee is also 5-2 when wearing black uniforms since 2009. This, the first night game at Neyland Stadium this season, will feature the Vols wearing their Dark Mode uniforms.
